We Specialize in Upholstery

Upholstery

Upholstery, defined as the application and padding of fabric to a wood frame, is a skilled trade and artform dating back to the 1600s. It remains one of the best ways to update a piece of furniture, especially one with sentimental value or “good bones” that has gotten worn or torn or fallen out of style. We help you select new fabric, evaluate the furniture frame, and create a plan for giving your upholstered furniture new life.

Refinishing

This process ensures a more refined and finished upholstered product. Refinishing is an attempt to get the piece to the newest version possible before additional work. This service includes sanding, deep cleaning, priming, and painting or a custom stain protective finishing.

Refinishing is offered for all of our upholstery projects.

Additional Services

Cushions

Sometimes all you need is a new pop of color to brighten up your couch or a cushion to create a soft seating nook in your home. Repinned creates custom cushions and pillows for specific projects. If we do a custom cushion for a bay window or a similar built-in style, our Master Craftsman visits your home to measure and ensure an accurate fit. We custom-cut all foam and create coverings for each individual project and can create custom pillows of any size or shape.

Custom Furnishings

Even if you don’t own something to be reupholstered, we’d love to work with you! We offer a selection of new furniture frames so you can customize every aspect from fabric to feel.

Window Treatments

One of the easiest updates that makes a big impact is adding custom window treatments. The mood, quality of light, and perceived ceiling height can all be altered with new draperies. Clients can select any of our designer fabrics and have custom window treatments or drapery created to fit any room at any size.

New Solid Wood Frames

Repinned offers new solid wood frames available for customizing, as well as dozens of legs in 17 different finishes.

Our Process

To begin the process, start by submitting pictures and dimensions of your piece. Repinned will provide a questionnaire regarding the piece’s current condition.

Our team at Repinned will review your project information and send an estimate for the work. We price labor and additional materials like fabric separately because the cost of fabric can vary greatly.

After you receive your labor/construction materials quote, we will move forward to scheduling your one-on-one fabric/design consultation.

You choose the fabric for your project! Visit our Beaverdale location or have swatches mailed to your address to see the fabric in your home’s light and among other furniture and wall colors. We do not work with outside fabrics because we cannot guarantee performance or durability. All fabric must be purchased through Repinned.

Once fabric is finalized, arrives and we reach your name on our master list, Repinned will reach out to you to coordinate the piece to come into our workroom. This minimizes the time the piece is out of your home and reduces clutter and maximizes productivity in our workroom.
